MS doesn't support its own software/hardware

Got a Microsoft LiveCam for my Win XP x64.

Downloaded and installed the 64bits driver for it. Video come out... blank/black.

So I uninstalled.

Tried Windows Update. It can't detect this piece of.. hardware.

Never, try to go back to the .exe installer, maybe it will work with some IM client even if the default video viewer is not working.

No luck.

Nevermind, pressed the button on the webcam and it activates... MSN Live Messenger!

Opps... no support on 64bit OS for MSN Live suite (messenger, mail, photo, etc).

Guess Microsoft is not interested on supporting its own OSes.. maybe Linux will have better support. LOL!

vsftpd and selinux

Doesn't play together.

If SeLinux is enabled and in the "enforcing" mode, you have to change the selinux config files to allow the user's ftp processes to read/write files from his own directory.

*sigh*
